Dilli Blouse

The Dilli Blouse is rooted in late-19th and early-20th century childrenswear  when garments were designed with purpose first, and decoration followed function.

Its oversized sailor collar draws directly from Victorian and Edwardian dress, where wide collars were cut to protect clothing beneath, sit neatly under coats, and signal formality. Here, that history is reworked: pointed at the front, bib-style at the back, edged with a contrast frill and finished with fine embroidered detailing.

Cut in organic cotton in a warm terracotta, the shape is boxy and relaxed. Shoulders drop. Sleeves are wide and cropped at the arm, elasticated to hold their volume without stiffness.

The result is a blouse that feels grounded and familiar, yet unmistakably modern. 'Proper' when it needs to be, relaxed everywhere else.
